Custom Game Box ‘Imperial 2030’
My cousin is an avid player of table games and needed a replacement box for one such beloved game, Imperial 2030. With the help of some friends, I determined the exact dimensions of the existing box and built this dovetailed outer shell from walnut, cherry and maple to surprise him on his birthday. This project was a lot of fun. I want to do more like it, perhaps with half-blind dovetails on the longer front and back faces for a cleaner look.
