My early mentor originally built this Claro walnut dining table with custom steel wishbone bases. I simply came along after the fact and refinished it for sale to a ski client I’d known from years earlier. Aside from the gorgeous curl and marbled heartwood for which this wood species in known, this table also has inset sliding dovetail base supports and a subtly beveled edge. It is a true work of art for which I can take no credit. It appears here only as a testament to the lofty possibilities my mentor has inspired me to pursue.
