The Bernard Desk

This project was the primarily the work of my mentor. I was fortunate to assist in building and installing much of this built-in curly maple desk for a client’s new mountain home. The oxidized, grain-matched drawer faces sport leather-wrapped pulls to complement the inset leather writing surface. Routed vents and electrical ports along the back accommodate the room’s forced air system and allow sleek egress for power cords. All drawers are dovetailed with soft-close sliders and hardware.
